The “Right” Stuff

Yoga.  Vegan diet.  TV/no TV.  Vegetarian diet.  Meditation.  Massage.  Energy healing.  Raw food.  Go to the gym.  Sunshine is good for you.  Sunshine is bad for you.  Eat vegetables, but don’t mix them.

Oh boy. (sigh)

Do you find yourself at times feeling confused as to what is the “right” way to live a healthy, happy life?  There are so many sources in this world who offer the “right” way, and if you’re at all like me, it’s easy to feel unsure about the choices we make.
There are as many options out there as there are people it seems.  For example, when it comes to the foods we eat, some say that a raw food diet is the best way to go.  Others will say a vegan diet is proven to be the best.  And still others will say vegetarian is #1, and more who say meat is fine, and “everything in moderation”.  When there appears to be scientific proof of each one being the healthiest, and so many others as being “the only way to go”, how can it be that they are all the “right” one?  It seems to me, that I receive different opinions and information from every person I talk to… so how do I know what is best for me?

The same goes for any type of process, method or treatment that may be offered as “The One”.  While all are being offered with the best of intentions, and all hold the experience of spiritual connection and expansion, they are still coming from an individual experience.  So I ask again, how can I know what will be best for me?

All of us identify and connect with our joy in relatively unique ways.  While Joy itself is universal in nature, the expressions of it are individual.  I have said this many times before… what brings me joy and good feelings may not have the exact same effect on you.  And even if it seems to, it’s not exactly the same.  Every one in a yoga class is there because they enjoy and appreciate their experience of it, and yet, even though the collective experience is joy and appreciation, if you were to ask every person in a yoga class to describe their experience, the expressions would vary from person to person.
There is no “one” way to live a consciously spiritual, or happy and healthy life.  There are as many ways of feeling good as there are beings in the whole of the universe… and then some!  You are created with a built-in, fail-proof guidance system that is perfect in its’ Divine design.  This is all about feeling Good.  Where many of us can get confused is paying more attention to what may feel good to others over our self, and trying to ‘force’ it to feel good for us.  Much of our transitional process (shifting from un/semi conscious living to fully conscious living) is about getting in touch with what feels good to us, and trusting that it is safe to follow our Good.

A mantra of Abraham-Hicks is, “Nothing is more important than that you feel good.”.  Nothing is more true in life.  It doesn’t matter what you choose to do, what all ways matters is how you feel as you do it.  Our state of being is what is all ways creating the physical matter/manifestation in our lives.  So if the idea of it feels good, go for it!  Remember that only you know what truly feels good to you.  We are very clever in convincing ourselves that something feels good to us… and try our best to ignore the feeling of dissonance throughout our being… in hopes that it will become good for us.  That’s not really how it works. ;)   You’ve got to be honest and true with your feelings, and that is the journey all itself.

With all the choices offered to us in this world, allow yourself to find your own voice and trust in what feels best for you.  If you all ways follow that, you’re guaranteed to live a happy and healthy life.  Go at your own pace… approve of the choices you make, and release the unconscious disempowerment we put ourselves through by following what we think we “should” be doing with our lives… whether it be food, exercise, career, relationships, our spiritual journey, or whatever… it’s all your experience, so choose what feels good!  And if it feels good, that is your indication that it is ‘right’ for you at this time.  This is how we are guided to experiencing our highest good.  Makes sense, right?  To expand in our good, we must follow what feels good!  If it feels good, it cannot be a wrong choice… the ‘key’ is to be clear on what feels truly good…

What feels good to you?

“Is this pill really an effective pill? Is this process really an effective process?” Anything that causes you to allow what you desire is the process of coming into alignment. And so, we’re not, in any way, validating or invalidating anything. Many offer their “dog and pony show” as being the one that works. And good for all of them. We applaud anything that assists someone in allowing the Well-being, that they so much want and deserve, to flow.
